Senior E-commerce Developer Position

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan (On-site)

Working Hours: 2pm-10am

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced e-commerce developer to oversee the management, maintenance, and enhancement of our online presence across Shopify and eBay platforms.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless online shopping experiences, optimizing store performance, and integrating back-end processes to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps.
  • Optimize store performance, including site speed and mobile responsiveness.
  • Manage Shopify admin including product uploads, inventory updates, and collections.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and tools (e.g., payment gateways, shipping platforms, ERP systems).
  • Customize Liquid templates, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS to meet branding and UX goals.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Create and manage eBay listings using tools like eBay Seller Hub, M2E Pro, Codisto, etc.
  • Optimize product titles, descriptions, and images for SEO and conversion.
  • Ensure compliance with eBay listing policies and best practices.
  • Automate listing and inventory synchronization between eBay and other platforms.
  • Track performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in e-commerce development with Shopify and eBay.

Proficiency in Shopify's Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations.

Strong understanding of eBay listing tools, policies, and marketplace algorithms.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and multichannel platforms.

Basic SEO knowledge and experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
