Technology Project Manager Position

This role requires a seasoned Technology Project Manager to drive successful outcomes in our technology projects. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

About the Job
  • Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing technology projects, with a focus on IoT, API integrations, and financial software.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams, develop project plans, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Scope Definition:
  • Establish clear project goals, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.
Team Collaboration:
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams comprising developers, designers, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with teams utilizing various technologies, including Flutter, SQL/PostgreSQL, Java/JavaScript/Python.
  • Identify and recruit key talent necessary for the project, ensuring the right skills and experience are in place.
Solution Development:
  • Oversee the integration of IoT devices, POS systems, and accounting software for tax filing automation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including small businesses, accounting professionals (CPAs), and technical teams, to ensure seamless solution implementation.
  • Ensure the technical architecture of the project is scalable, secure, and easy to maintain.
Communication and Feedback:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, roadblocks, and key developments.
  • Manage client and stakeholder expectations effectively, gathering feedback to refine and improve the product.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
  • Oversee the testing and QA process to ensure high-quality results.
  • Proactively manage risks, resolving issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
