Neurosurgery Academic Position

The Department of Surgery provides comprehensive and sub-specialty care in various fields including Neurosurgery. The University invites applications for the positions of Senior Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Neurosurgery, responsible for undertaking undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and specified administrative activities.

Requirements

Candidates should have completed postgraduate training and possess FCPS, FRCS, American Board or equivalent with subsequent clinical, teaching and research experience. For Senior Instructor, at least two years' experience in a reputable institution is required.

Applicants for Assistant Professor should have at least two years' experience as Senior Instructor or equivalent. They should also have demonstrated scholarship through research, publications, and/or contribution to education.

Applicants for Associate Professor should have at least eight years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University with five years' post-terminal experience of teaching and a minimum of 10 research publications in journals recognized jointly by HEC and PMDC, with at least 4 of these publications in the last five years.
