About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transcription Specialist to join our team. As a Transcription Specialist, you will be responsible for transcribing audio and video files into text format. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and can work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcribe audio and video files into text format with high accuracy.
  • Maintain the integrity of the source file throughout the transcription process.
  • Develop strong understanding of various modes of transcription, including Intelligent Verbatim, Edited, Phonetic, and Discourse Analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and methods in transcription.
  • Adhere to client guidelines and formatting instructions.
  • Conduct quality control on transcripts to ensure accuracy and completeness.


Requirements & Qualifications
  • Formal education in English Language/Literature or relevant field.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Able to understand and transcribe British accents (Scottish and Welsh).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with audio/video transcription software (e.g., Otter AI).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Dedication, reliability, and confidentiality.
