As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely preparation of final reports through performing complex clinical tests independently according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently conduct complex clinical tests on a daily basis to guarantee accurate and prompt report preparation.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff, students, and trainees as per guidelines provided, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Contribute to the implementation of safety standards by following and assisting supervisors in adhering to laboratory safety protocols on a daily basis.
  • Maintain oversight through visual inspections to ensure junior staff adhere to laboratory quality manual guidelines on a daily basis.
  • Process and co-sign lab test reports, including negative results.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to safety standards outlined in the safety manual.
Required Qualifications and Skills

You should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, with a Master's degree being preferred.
  • Three to four years of experience as a Technologist at a reputable institution or six to seven years of relevant experience in a hospital or laboratory setting, inclusive of two to three years of administrative experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.
  • Staying abreast of the latest developments in medical technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts.
