Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Industrial Designer to conceptualize and develop innovative product designs that are functional, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with brand identity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on user needs, market trends, and design opportunities to create effective product solutions.
  • Develop concepts through sketches, CAD models, renderings, and physical prototypes to bring ideas to life.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure designs are feasible and meet performance requirements.
  • Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for prototyping and manufacturing to optimize product functionality and cost.
  • Present design ideas and concepts to internal teams and stakeholders to facilitate communication and feedback.
  • Select materials, production methods, and finishes to balance product functionality and cost considerations.
  • Iterate designs based on feedback, testing, and usability studies to refine and improve product designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technology in product design to maintain expertise and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field to establish a strong foundation in design principles and practices.
  • 2–5+ years of professional experience in industrial design depending on seniority level to demonstrate career progression and growth.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of product design work including ideation, development, and final outcomes to highlight skills and achievements.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot, and/or Fusion 360 to leverage software capabilities and efficiency.
  • Experience with 3D modeling, rendering, and prototyping to bring designs to life and test their feasibility.
  • Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively convey design ideas and concepts to various audiences.
  • Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics to ensure product safety and user comfort.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail to identify and address design challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines to prioritize tasks and deliver results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing consumer electronics, furniture, appliances, or similar physical products to apply existing knowledge and skills to new contexts.
  • Familiarity with design for sustainability and lifecycle thinking to consider environmental impact and long-term viability.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI and human-centered design principles to create intuitive and user-friendly products.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping techniques including 3D printing and CNC machining to accelerate the design process and test product feasibility.
