Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest standards of quality across our software products.

">About the Role
  • We are looking for an experienced professional to lead testing strategies, plans, and schedules ensuring comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing, including experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
  • Proven expertise in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI is also required.
">Responsibilities
  1. Test Strategy & Planning:
    1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules.
    2. Design and execute testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
    3. Collaborate with development and product teams to align testing objectives with business and technical requirements.
  2. Test Execution & Reporting:
    1. Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms and environments.
    2. Identify, document, and track defects while working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
    3. Conduct root cause analysis of complex issues and provide actionable insights.
    4. Prepare and share detailed test reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates with stakeholders.
  3. Automation & Tools:
    1. Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage.
    2. Continuously optimize the test automation framework.
    3. Research and recommend new testing tools, frameworks, and best practices to strengthen QA processes.
  4. Leadership & Mentorship:
    1. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
    2. Participate in design and code reviews, ensuring quality considerations are integrated early in the development lifecycle.
    3. Advocate for quality across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
">Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of security testing practices.
