We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager Accounts to fill the position of Financial Operations Leader. The ideal candidate should have completed their CA articles from a reputable firm, with a specific focus on Audit/Accounting. The candidate should possess knowledge and hands-on experience in accounting software and demonstrate proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly in MS Excel. The candidate must be capable of handling pressure and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

About the Role:

  • This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • The successful candidate will lead a team of 5-10 members and ensure efficient workflow and coordination.
  • The role involves handling various accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, payroll, and sales tax report preparation for foreign clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  3. Utilize accounting software, such as Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks, for data entry and financial reporting.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  5. Effectively train junior team members.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  7. Perform other ad hoc accounting and finance tasks as required.

Requirements:

  1. CA Finalists with 4-5 years of experience in a reputable accounting/auditing firm.
  2. 2-3 years in bookkeeping OR 4-5 years in the accounts field.
  3. Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero.
  4. Strong command of the MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
  5. Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  7. In-depth understanding of financial statements and payroll taxes.
  8. Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  9. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
