Job Description:

• Assemble solar panels and standard frames as required. This involves understanding technical specifications and adhering to industry standards.

• Install photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with established guidelines using drawings, schematics, and instructions from senior managers.

  ">

• Install electrical components, equipment, or systems, demonstrating knowledge of relevant safety protocols.

  ">

• Determine appropriate locations and orientations for Panel installations, considering factors such as sunlight exposure and structural integrity.

  ">

• Perform wiring related to the solar system, including Panels, inverters, and battery sides, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

  ">

• Knowledge of cable sizing DC/AC is essential for this role, as it directly impacts system efficiency.

  ">

• Perform routine photovoltaic (PV) system maintenance on panels, arrays, batteries, inverters, structures, etc., to ensure seamless operation.

  ">

• Compile or maintain records of system operation, performance, and maintenance, providing valuable insights for future improvements.

  ">

• Supervise large installations, utilizing leadership skills to guide teams and ensure successful project completion.

  ">

Procurement:

• ">

• Arrange necessary tools and equipment for installation and maintenance tasks.

  ">

• Determine reliable and appropriate sizes, ratings, and locations for all system overcurrent devices, disconnect devices, grounding equipment, and surge suppression equipment.

  ">

Product Handling:

• ">

• Program, adjust, or configure inverters and controls for desired set points and operating modes, ensuring optimal performance.

  ">

• Identify and resolve any deficiencies in photovoltaic (PV) system installation, wiring, or materials, addressing potential issues promptly.

  ">

• Test operating voltages to ensure operation within acceptable limits for power conditioning equipment, such as inverters and controllers.

  ">

• Able to read and understand user/technical manuals, applying knowledge to real-world scenarios.

  ">

Qualifications:

• ">

• Required: Technical Courses/Diploma related to Electrical/Solar Installations, providing a solid foundation for the role.

  ">

• Intermediate with experience, highlighting the importance of practical knowledge.

  ">

Experience:

• ">

• Minimum 2-3 Years Experience with the installation of solar systems, showcasing expertise and adaptability.

  ">

• Practical Experience with more than 15 On Grid/Off Grid Installations, demonstrating ability to work with various system configurations.

  ">

• Preferred: Experience with Net Metering Installations and Earthing, highlighting desirable skills.

  ">

• Knowledge of Climate factors, Shading affecting the power generation of PV, essential for optimizing system performance.

  ">

• Capable to use basic instruments like multimeters, current meter, power analyzer, inclinometer etc, showcasing proficiency in tool usage.

  ">

• Experience with solar pump drives will be preferred, indicating familiarity with advanced technology.
