Network Operations Center Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) engineer to join our team. As a NOC engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure.

Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and troubleshoot network issues, as well as maintain and administer Windows and Linux-based servers. You will also be responsible for performing system updates, patches, and security configurations, as well as optimizing server performance and ensuring availability of critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor network performance and system health using NOC tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, latency, and performance issues
  • Respond to incidents, system alerts, and outages to minimize downtime
  • Maintain and administer Windows and Linux-based servers
  • Perform system updates, patches, and security configurations
  • Optimize server performance and ensure availability of critical applications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in NOC operations, Systems Administration, and Linux Administration
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP)
  • Proficiency in Linux administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Grafana, etc.)
  • Familiarity with firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper)
