Job Description

The Assistant Manager Distribution plays a pivotal role in supporting the pharmaceutical distribution of finished goods by analyzing data, generating reports, managing ERP documentation, verifying claims, and ensuring timely coordination with distributors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate and publish daily operational and analytical reports, compile distributor-level reports using ERP-extracted data.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and update records of Drug Sales Licenses for all distributors, post and manage documentation in the ERP system.
  • Claims Verification: Verify credit/debit notes and service bills for accuracy, prepare and process purchase requisitions.
  • Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate with the Trade Team for collection and verification of distributor trade offer claims, ensure proper documentation for FOC (Free of Cost) issuance for quarterly audits.
  • TMS and Inventory Management: Manage timely issuance of shelf rental claims, liaise with Finance for resolution of queries and timely posting of credit notes.
  • Sales Forecasting and Optimization: Analyze historical sales data to identify trends and performance drivers, enhance sales forecasting models using advanced Excel techniques, develop automated dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical distribution environment.
  • Skills: Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills, effective time management and organizational abilities, excellent verbal and written communication, logical reasoning and analytical thinking, proficiency in numerical analysis, advanced IT and MS Office skills.
