Finance Expert Job Description

This role requires a finance expert to support the Global Treasury and Qualcomm Ventures teams across various areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in cash forecasts, financial analysis, and capital markets.

The selected individual will work closely with HQ and global region teams to provide forecast and support to the Global Treasury/Ventures teams regarding financial forecasts used in each financial outlook.

The key responsibilities of this position include forecasting and reporting, transactional work, and supporting company's Ventures process including funding for new investments and tracking financial health for existing investments.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Treasury function or Financial Analysis
  • Proficiency in Oracle, Cognos TM1 or similar finance system tools is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Experience utilizing Bloomberg is a Plus
  • Strong interest in financial markets
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskill with tools – Tableau, Power BI etc.
