Job Title: Flight Sales Consultant
Cheap flights and affordable airfare are in high demand. We are seeking a skilled individual to join our sales team as a Flight Sales Consultant. This role involves assisting customers in finding the best flight deals for their travel needs, providing expert advice, excellent service, and tailored solutions to ensure a seamless and enjoyable booking experience.
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to engage with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to understand their travel requirements and preferences. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their travel needs and preferences.
- Flight Options: Provide personalized flight options and itineraries based on customer needs, budget constraints, and destination interests.
- Promotional Deals: Offer promotional deals and special packages to entice customers and encourage them to book.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest airline offers, travel trends, and industry developments to provide accurate and relevant information for customers.
- Booking Process: Handle booking inquiries, process payments, and issue tickets efficiently and accurately.
- Customer Follow-up: Follow up with customers post-booking to confirm details, provide additional assistance, and address any concerns.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to achieve company sales targets and overall objectives.
- Company Policies: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's booking system and policies to provide seamless customer service.
- Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Sales Strategies: Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions to optimize sales strategies and enhance the customer experience.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the travel industry.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills with a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with customers to understand their needs.
- Travel Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, airline routes, and current trends in the travel industry.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with reservation systems and booking platforms (experience with Amadeus, Sabre, or similar systems is a plus).
- Computer Literacy: Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy in handling booking inquiries, payments, and ticketing processes.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate customer demands.
