**Alluvial Operations Expert:**

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive alluvial mining plans, leading the operation of trommel systems, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and execute alluvial mining operations to achieve production and exploration goals.

  2. Implement efficient trommel systems and manage material classification, gravity concentration, and tailings management.

  3. Supervise geological exploration campaigns, including sampling and metallurgical testing.

  4. Develop and monitor production schedules to meet planned targets.

Equipment and Machinery Management:

  1. Oversee the operation and maintenance of excavation and hauling equipment and processing equipment.

  2. Propose technical upgrades and acquire new machinery as needed.

Water Management and Environmental Stewardship:

  1. Design and implement water intake, usage, and recirculation systems to minimize consumption and discharge.

  2. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations concerning wastewater, solid and liquid waste, and emissions.

  3. Coordinate progressive land restoration and revegetation programs.

Personnel Management and Safety:

  1. Manage and train the operations team, including supervisors, operators, mechanics, and field personnel.

  2. Enforce occupational health and safety protocols.

  3. Promote a culture of prevention, discipline, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in alluvial or placer mining operations, with proven experience in operational leadership roles.

  • Technical Knowledge: Gravity concentration, water management, land rehabilitation, and knowledge of environmental and mining regulations.

  • Skills: Leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, effective communication, and results orientation.

  • Other: Willingness to work in remote rural locations and lead multidisciplinary field teams.
