Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Financial Operations Manager is a key position responsible for overseeing the financial functions of the organization. This includes managing the accounts payable department and staff, maintaining general ledger and project accounting functions, and ensuring that systems and procedures are in place to adhere to company policies and function accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the accounts payable department and staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and project accounting records.
  • Oversee tax-related processes and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to supervisors and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing costs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
