The role of an e-commerce expert is pivotal in creating and managing direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) online platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Platform Development: Oversee the development and management of e-commerce platforms, including theme updates, product launches, page buildouts, and site customizations.
- B2B Storefront Creation: Design and optimize B2B e-commerce experiences to support business clients.
- System Optimization: Develop and manage systems, workflows, and integrations to enhance platform efficiency.
- Marketing Integration: Manage digital marketing initiatives, including reviews, referrals, affiliate programs, SEO, and more.
- Custom Projects: Oversee private app development and platform integrations as needed.
- Data Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to track performance, provide insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
Requirements:
- Extensive e-commerce expertise, including end-to-end platform builds and management.
- Experience working with e-commerce apps to enhance site functionality.
- Proficiency in email marketing automation software.
- Strong understanding of analytics software and data analysis.
- Excel/data analysis skills for reporting and performance tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in web development or data science.
- Experience managing blended D2C and B2B e-commerce stores for high-growth brands.
