As a skilled Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless freight dispatch operations. This office-based position involves coordinating logistics by communicating with truck drivers and brokers through calls and coordination.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate Rates: Establish mutually beneficial terms with truck drivers by discussing rates per mile, prioritizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Load Management: Utilize advanced CRM systems to efficiently find and assign loads to truck drivers during the night shift, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Bargaining: Negotiate with brokers and truck drivers to secure optimal deals and conditions for deliveries, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between truck drivers and brokers, managing all communication over phone and via digital channels.
  • Documentation: Accurately record all communications, rate agreements, and load assignments within our CRM system and tracking software.
  • Problem-Solving: Effectively handle logistical challenges that arise during the night shift, employing creative solutions to ensure timely deliveries and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in negotiation and conflict resolution, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM systems and logistics management is highly valued, with proficiency in using technology to streamline processes.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced office environment, adapting to changing circumstances and deadlines.
  • Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or similar roles is an asset, providing valuable insight into industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software is required, with the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
Work Environment:
  • Night Shift Only: This role requires working exclusively during the night shift, necessitating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Office-based position with regular communication over phone and digital channels.
  • Able to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure during nighttime hours, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under stress.
