We are seeking an HSE professional to contribute to our organization's Health, Safety, and Environment Management System. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and implementing this system across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on managing health, safety, and fire hazards in operations to minimize risks to staff, contractors, visitors, and facilities.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and HAZOP studies for critical operations or processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the site.
  • Develop effective safe systems of work and permit-to-work systems to control hazards.
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance HSE awareness.
  • Perform inspections, audits, incident investigations, and reporting as required by the HSE Representative.
  • Prepare emergency procedures and train staff for emergency situations to mitigate accidents/incidents.
  • Communicate and consult with workers and staff on health and safety matters for effective implementation of the HSE management system.
  • Monitor HSE performance by staff and contractors at operating sites and report to management.
Requirements:
  • BE degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
  • Certified courses such as lead auditor (OHSAS 18001:2007 or ISO 14001:2004), NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safety, or OSHA are preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a reputable organization.
