Senior WordPress Developer

We are seeking a skilled developer with proven expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing e-commerce websites.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain, and enhance WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
  • Architect and develop custom WordPress plugins optimizing for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs (payment gateways, shipping, marketing, etc.).
  • Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in object-oriented PHP, WP APIs, REST, and database design.

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years building WooCommerce stores and custom WP plugins.
  • Deep experience with WooCommerce hooks/actions, custom post types, taxonomies, and WP REST API.
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Composer, Git, and modern dev workflows.
  • Knowledgeable in front-end frameworks (VanillaJS, React, Vue).
  • Experience integrating with payment, shipping, or ERP APIs.

Bonus Points:

  • Strong UX/UI sensibility.
  • TypeScript and JS bundling tools knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to scope and estimate plugins and features.
