System Architect Job Description

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure on the cloud, ensuring security best practices and cost optimization. You will work with cutting-edge technologies like container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools to build highly available systems.

About This Role

As a system architect, you will be responsible for building the foundation of our platform that empowers businesses to operate like tech companies. You will help shape the infrastructure that enables small businesses to scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement highly available infrastructure on AWS, ensuring security best practices and cost optimization.
  • Lead container orchestration efforts using Docker and Docker Swarm, including creating optimized Dockerfiles and managing container networking.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines primarily using GitHub Actions, focusing on automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies for TypeScript-based applications.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and IAM.
  • Extensive knowledge of Docker and Docker Swarm, including experience with multi-container applications.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Node.js ecosystem and TypeScript applications.
