We are seeking a skilled WordPress Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking designs created by web designers and coding those designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. You will also work on different PHP CMSs and Frameworks (WordPress, Magento, Shopify, etc.). This position requires strong collaboration skills, as you will work closely with various members of the organization to play a key role in the successful launch of websites and applications.

Responsibilities
  • Create well-structured WordPress custom themes and plugins.
  • Conduct website performance tests.
  • Maintain the appearance and updates of websites.
  • Troubleshoot content issues.
  • Create WordPress plugins to support site functionality and integrations.
  • Optimize websites for mobile users.
  • Proficiency in customizing, developing, and integrating WordPress backend & themes.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.

This role is ideal for individuals with 2-3 years of experience as a WordPress Backend Developer. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Core PHP/MySQL, as well as knowledge of WordPress Plugin and Theme Development.

Requirements
  • Experience with CORE PHP/MySQL.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, WordPress, Gutenberg, HTML, CSS, and SASS.
  • Able to evaluate code for standards, validity, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of latest web development practices.
  • Able to analyze technical requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Team collaboration skills.
