Backend Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Backend Web Developer to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing high-quality websites using WordPress and other PHP CMSs. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP will enable you to create efficient and scalable web applications.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver website projects on time and within budget. Your strong understanding of web development best practices, including code optimization and security, will ensure that our websites meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
  • Work with front-end developers to integrate backend functionality and ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute website projects from conception to launch.
  • Analyze technical requirements and provide solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in WordPress, PHP, and related technologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong focus on backend functionality.
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript, with experience in jQuery and other relevant libraries.
  • Familiarity with WordPress core functionality, including hooks, filters, and the WP REST API.
  • Strong understanding of web development best practices, including code optimization and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
