Backend Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and rolling out critical backend systems and data products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of backend systems and data products.
  • Manage production systems to ensure high quality and reliability for clients.
  • Collaborate with developers and team members to drive collective growth.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for software systems and applications.
  • Mentor junior developers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Optimize production systems for maintenance-free operations.
  • Data extraction and processing.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Passion for software development beyond school and work.
  • Meaningful side projects that can be discussed.
  • Comfort with Linux, Python, SQL databases, and similar technologies.
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting a production system from scratch.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
