Job Title: Integration / Solutions Engineer

Our mission is to reduce inequity by helping immigrants move money home and become the leading cross-border fintech for emerging markets. We are seeking an experienced Integration/Solutions Engineer to join our growing engineering team and build out our backend third-party integration systems as we scale.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Support, Growth, and other functions to test, analyze, document, and plan integrations with partners across the world. Your role includes developing integrations with banks, mobile wallet providers, and other partners using Postman or similar tools.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time-management skills, as well as proactive communication skills. You will have opportunities to grow and improve your skills in a fast-paced tech startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test 3rd party APIs using Postman or similar tool
  • Analyze 3rd party API documentation
  • Identify inconsistencies, problems or ambiguities in the API behavior
  • Communicate with partners to troubleshoot issues
  • Communicate technical updates to internal stakeholders in a timely fashion
  • Monitor existing API integrations for problems - analyze logs, build dashboards, check queues, etc.
  • Help with planning & prioritizing
Requirements:
  • 5+ years working experience in a professional environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities, setting expectations with stakeholders
  • Experience with Postman
  • Experience with testing or using REST & SOAP APIs
  • Strong understanding of JSON & XML
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Excellent time management skills and desire to work across time zones
