Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in customising and designing solutions using the Epicor Kinetic range of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Epicor Kinetic range of products to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements.
  2. Customise and design software solutions that cater to diverse business needs, taking into account factors such as scalability and security.
  3. Mentor and guide junior team members, including graduates and less experienced developers, to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  4. Facilitate effective communication between the development team and stakeholders by ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
  5. Coordinate and lead team meetings, which may include sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with project goals.
  6. Collaborate closely with users to gather insights on application requirements and contribute to the design of efficient systems.
  7. Ensure that projects are completed within agreed-upon time frames and budgets while maintaining adherence to established design and security standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science or software engineering.
  2. Advanced skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, VB, SSRS, RDL, or similar programming languages.
  3. Expertise in relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, or MySQL.
  4. In-depth knowledge of software architecture, enabling you to apply theoretical concepts to real-world project deliverables.
  5. Availability for after-hours calls with customers to provide timely support and address their concerns.
  6. Previous experience in a software development leadership role is highly desirable.
