About the Role

This role is crucial in defending Changi's airport systems, infrastructure, and digital assets from cyber threats. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Finding and reducing vulnerabilities: To assess the cybersecurity aspects of design proposals for different systems, applications, and infrastructure. Collaborate with external service providers to conduct annual vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  2. Applying security controls: Based on industry best practices, recommend and apply suitable security measures for compliance and to address shared vulnerabilities. Contribute to security policy development and maintenance, aligned with ISO 27001 standards.
  3. Secure Development Practices: Integrate secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing on secure design principles. Work with developers to identify and fix security vulnerabilities.
  4. Incident Response and Recovery: Review logs to detect malicious activity and data breaches. Coordinate with contractors, security vendors, and internal teams to isolate incidents, identify root causes, and implement mitigation procedures.
  5. Staying Current with Threats: The cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving. Stay up-to-date with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques through training, industry publications, and conferences.

Requirements

  • Good degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferably candidates with professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience managing contractors and designing cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience in preparing tender specifications for vulnerability assessment and creating SOPs for security incident response.
  • Proficiency in security tools, logs extraction methods, and technologies.
  • Curious mind to proactively detect potential cyber threats and develop measures to address them.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
