Key Responsibilities of an SEO and Social Media Marketing Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO/SEM expert to lead our search engine optimization and marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies, including content creation, link building, and keyword optimization to drive organic growth across all major search networks. In addition, they will oversee SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo, and Bing to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing data and trends to optimize paid search campaigns and improve overall performance
  • Tracking website analytics and PPC initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
  • Managing campaign expenses and reconciling discrepancies
  • Enhancing copy and landing pages for search engine marketing success
  • Discovering, expanding, and optimizing keywords for improved search rankings
  • Researching and implementing SEO recommendations to improve website visibility and credibility
  • Conducting competitor analysis to inform advertising and marketing strategies
  • Developing and executing a robust link building strategy to increase online presence
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into newly developed code

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing PPC campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations)
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
