Location: Karachi, Sindh is a preferred location but not mandatory.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Managing large and complex orders is a key responsibility of this role.
  • Executing large volumes both in single names and large baskets requires strong trading skills.
  • Managing multi-directional flow across multiple names and clients demands high levels of expertise.
  • Familiarity with algous, all trade types and trading functions is essential to manage a busy order pad.
  • Strong market awareness in terms of data that is moving markets and individual stocks is crucial for success.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are necessary to build trust with clients.
  • Focused on service excellence and consistency of service, this role aims to deliver exceptional results.
  • Demonstrating clear reasons for trading and not trading requires strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrating high levels of care when looking after client flows is vital for customer satisfaction.
  • Executing flow in developed markets, GEMS, and Frontier markets in addition to JSE / A2X requires adaptability.
  • Able to work outside of SA market hours if necessary, this role demands flexibility.
  • Participating and contributing to morning meetings requires strong teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable creating and distributing market commentary, this role aims to stay ahead of the curve.
  • High energy with emphasis on regular client feedback on status of orders, market conditions, and relevant news and information is expected.
  • Revenue generating focus (be proactive and able to take initiative) drives business growth.
  • Able to work in, communicate, and contribute to a dynamic and growing team is essential.
  • Working closely with, and training up-and-coming financial services professionals and graduates is a key aspect of this role.
