Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Digital Distribution Manager, specializing in app development, sprint planning, agile methodologies, and API integration. This role will lead and manage the app development process, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality user experience.

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive app user uptake, increase downloads, and enhance user acquisition and retention rates.
  • Monitor app performance analytics, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, retention rates, and customer lifetime value, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare strategies & execution plan based on app performance, growth, and key findings from user data analysis.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive app strategy, including app store optimization (ASO), user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies.
  • Collaborate with scrum team to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Manage the cross-functional team, such as backend developers, front end developers and QA to ensure cohesive and effective implementation of app features and enhancements.
  • Conduct sprint planning, coordinate with development teams, and oversee the agile development process to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Implement best practices for agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, to optimize the app development process.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance app development efficiency, quality, and speed-to-market.
  • Take ownership of the UI/UX architecture, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience throughout the app.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors and partners for API integrations, leveraging API gateway and other relevant technologies to streamline and secure the integration process.
  • Oversee the app's performance and reliability, monitoring key metrics such as app load times, crash rates, and user feedback, and taking proactive steps to optimize and improve performance.
  • Conduct regular app audits and reviews to identify areas for enhancement, bug fixes, and user experience improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with IS policies and security standards in all aspects of app development and data handling.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
