Job Overview

Financial Analyst Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing costs and performing analyses to optimize expenses, conduct product valuations, review expenses, prepare reports, support planning updates, calculate manufacturing variances, post entries, audit costing journal entries, manage batch costing, and report monthly departmental expenses and PPV (Purchase Price Variance) incurrence and amortization schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cost and margin optimization through regular data analysis and reviews.
  2. Conduct monthly and annual product inventory valuations to make provisions for accounting.
  3. Prepare expense reviews and standard vs. actual cost analyses to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Develop reports for review and analysis to inform business decisions.
  5. Support plan updates and provide variance calculations.
  6. Audit costing entries and manage batch costing.
  7. Report monthly departmental expenses and PPV incurrence and amortization schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • MBA in Finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
