Accounting Operations Manager Job Description

  • This is a key role within the organization responsible for managing Period End Close activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage PEC activities with accuracy and ensure timely completion of group reporting.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and local laws.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for half yearly review and full year audit.
  • Present financial updates to stakeholders on a quarterly basis.
  • Custodian of Accounting Standards, ensuring compliance in accounting and reporting practices.
  • Ensure balance sheet integrity through regular reconciliations and clearing of open line items.
  • Collaborate with shared services team to ensure quality of service delivery aligns with Service Level Agreement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant education and professional experience as mentioned.
  • Understanding of FICO SAP Modules.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office.
  • Solid knowledge of IAS, IFRS, Companies Act, Code of Corporate Governance.
  • Good knowledge of Period End Close Activities.
  • Ability to manage relationships effectively.
  • Good interpersonal skills and proficiency in English.
