The Project Director will oversee all stages and types of IT initiatives for the business from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Design, development and delivery of effective business applications.
  2. Unravel, define and document complex business requirements and processes, evaluate options and implement solutions.
  3. Lead design sessions and review sessions with technical and business staff, including all levels of management.
  4. Work with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment of business goals.
  5. Direct daily operations of the department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
  6. Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques.
  7. Manage application design through various lifecycle stages from business need through design and delivery.
  8. Establish and maintain customer relationships.
  9. Assist in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
  10. Assign, monitor and review tasks of systems analysts, engineers, and other computer-related workers.
Job Requirements

Skill and Expertise
- Strong business analyst, application design, and project management skills are essential.
- Candidate should have at least 6 years of work experience, with 4 years of Project Management experience required.
- Proficiency in ASP.Net, VB.net, SQL server 2000/2005 is necessary. C# is an added advantage.
- Experience in developing complex Web Applications and knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus.
- Candidate must be flexible, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills are required.
- Ability to develop and manage project scope, deliverables, milestones, and critical resource planning activities.
- Manage concurrent projects and their interdependencies.
- Estimate, prioritize and schedule own tasks.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Coordinate, train, supervise or manage the activities of others to accomplish goals.
