Job Overview:

The position of a Senior Backend Developer is available for an individual who will be responsible for ensuring the system operates seamlessly behind the scenes. Their role involves integrating the application with all required systems and services, providing clean and user-friendly APIs for the frontend part of the system.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Developing business logic and backend systems of the product.
  2. Collaborating with frontend developers to design and develop functional, efficient, and complete APIs.
  3. Analyzing existing software systems and integrating applications with applicable data sources.
  4. Writing unit and integration tests, as well as automation tools for daily tasks.
  5. Developing high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code.

Requirements:

  1. 6+ years of experience as a backend developer in Java Spring Boot programming.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and engineering principles like SOLID.
  3. Significant experience writing and utilizing autonomous services-oriented RESTful API services and performance tuning large-scale apps.
  4. Experience in designing and developing BPM Workflows (e.g., Camunda).
  5. Translate workflow steps into business process activities and nested processes.
  6. Implement process flows, integration services, business logic, and user interfaces.
  7. Experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g., MsSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase, etc.).
  8. Ability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests.
  9. Nice to have knowledge of immutable infrastructure, infrastructure automation, and provisioning tools.
  10. Strong understanding and experience in building, deploying, and managing modern applications in cloud computing environments and CI/CD practices.
  11. Excellent communication skills to communicate complex technical concepts and align the organization on decisions.
  12. Solid problem-solving skills to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply.
  13. Foster collaboration to create innovative solutions efficiently.
  14. Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging/disruptive technologies.
  15. Believe in a culture of brutal transparency and trust.
  16. Open to learning new ideas outside the scope of knowledge.
