Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting food safety audits, ensuring quality control among foods of all types.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food-related disciplines, including biological sciences, food science, nutrition, agriculture, agribusiness, engineering, chemistry, or related fields. Additionally, they should have experience related to the food and/or agricultural industries, including quality assurance, food safety functions, auditing, and/or farm management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement audit plans to ensure compliance with food safety standards and protocols.
  • Conduct thorough audits using updated audit packs, checklists, forms, and tools.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and respond to their inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Submit accurate and complete audit reports within established timelines.
  • Address defects, concerns, and queries raised by reviewing channels in a timely manner.
  • Develop competency to maintain qualification to conduct audits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, statutory requirements, and standards.
Requirements
  • University degree in food-related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience related to the food and/or agricultural industries.
  • Familiarity with third-party certification processes.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Database systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, mostly overnight travel throughout Pakistan.
