SEO Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance online presence.

You will work closely with the marketing and content teams to optimize our website and other digital assets for search engines, driving maximum visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Keyword Research: Identify relevant and high-traffic search terms using keyword research tools.
  2. SEO Strategy Development: Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase online visibility.
  3. On-page Optimization: Optimize website content, metadata, and on-page elements to ensure maximum visibility in search engines.
  4. Technical SEO Audits: Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting search engine crawling and indexing.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly and engaging content that drives results.
  7. Industry Stays: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure optimal performance.
  8. Development Integration: Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into website design and development.
  9. Reporting and Analytics: Track and report on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, conversion rates, and keyword rankings.
  10. Link Building: Identify opportunities for link building and outreach to improve domain authority.

Requirements:

  1. Work Experience: Proven work experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role is essential.
  2. SEO Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, algorithms, and techniques is required.
  3. Keyword Tools: Familiarity with keyword research and analysis tools is necessary.
  4. Analytics Tools: Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is expected.
  5. On-page SEO: Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO factors is essential.
  6. SEO Audits: Ability to perform SEO audits and recommend effective solutions.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  8. CMS Platforms: Proficiency in using CMS platforms and website backend systems is necessary.
  9. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  10. Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
