Job Role Overview

The Inside Solutions Architect plays a pivotal part in spearheading the consultative discovery of customer business goals, objectives, and challenges, interpreting them into effective technology solutions.

This presales technical expert supports the sales process by designing and recommending advanced security solutions tailored to customer needs.

The ideal candidate brings technical knowledge of security technologies along with strong communication and collaboration skills, acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales teams in presales activities, including gathering customer requirements and supporting solution design.
  • Support the creation of Bill of Materials (BoM), quote generation, and solution validation for security technologies.
  • Develop a working knowledge of security platforms such as firewall solutions, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), cloud security, security operations tools (SIEM/SOAR), and vulnerability management solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging security technologies, and vendor offerings.
  • Participate in discovery calls to understand customer needs and contribute to appropriate security solution designs.
  • Assist in reviewing configurations, designs, and quotes before delivery to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Support the identification of upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the security solution portfolio.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and take initiative to improve internal processes, knowledge sharing, and documentation.
  • Work towards achieving relevant certifications to enhance technical expertise and support vendor relationships in the security space.
