Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Accurate Document Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess strong document drafting, transcription, and editing skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for transcribing legal proceedings, creating accurate documents, and reviewing/editing documents for grammatical accuracy and adherence to legal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe verbatim legal proceedings using stenographic machines, including court hearings, depositions, and meetings.
  • Create and edit a variety of legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Review and proofread documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to legal standards.
  • Conduct research to gather information relevant to document preparation and stay updated on legal developments.
  • Maintain organized records of legal documents and coordinate with legal teams to manage document workflow efficiently.
RequirementsSkillset:
  • Stenography Skills: Proficient in stenographic machines with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document formats.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail ensuring transcriptions and document drafting accuracy.
