Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director Finance to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective financial strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and Implement Financial Strategies: Create and execute long-term financial plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Manage Budgets and Forecasts: Lead the budgeting process and prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Conduct Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and Present Financial Statements: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
    • Provide Internal Reports: Provide regular financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Treasury Management:
    • Manage Cash Flow: Oversee cash management, ensuring optimal liquidity to meet the company's operational needs.
    • Negotiate Banking Relationships: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable terms and conditions.
    • Develop Investment Strategies: Develop and implement investment strategies to maximize returns on excess cash while managing risk.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and Assess Risks: Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
    • Mitigate Financial Risks: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and protect the company's assets.
    • Oversee Insurance Programs: Oversee the company's insurance programs to ensure adequate coverage and cost-effectiveness.
  • Audit:
    • Oversee Audit Process: Oversee the audit process, including the selection and management of external auditors.
    • Implement Internal Controls: Ensure the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
    • Monitor Compliance: Monitor compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
    • Work with Audit Committee: Work closely with the Audit Committee to address any audit findings and implement corrective actions.
