Taking on the role of a Disability Assessor means being part of a team that makes a significant impact on people's lives.

What You'll Do

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting assessments to understand how an individual's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

You will use your expertise to gather accurate information through telephone or video calls, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the client's situation.

Your findings will then be documented in a factual report, which will serve as a crucial piece of evidence for the Department for Work and Pensions' decision-making process.

This role requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in IT and computer applications.

Requirements:

  • NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist with 1 year's or more broad post-registration experience
