Operational Risk Professional

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in risk management and be able to develop and implement effective strategies to prevent, eliminate, and mitigate operational risk.

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Operational Risk Specialist. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and mitigating operational risks across systems, processes, and people.

  • Risk Policy Development: Assist in creating and maintaining operational risk policies and standards for risk management.
  • Strategic Risk Management: Implement a plan to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risk across systems, processes, and people.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify and evaluate risks across operational activities and provide support to mitigate them. Maintain a log of identified risks, including their likelihood and impact.
  • Operations Risk Assessment: Conduct department-wise operations risk assessments on a monthly basis and identify any discrepancies for management's information.
  • Risk Management Policies Review: Periodically review risk management policies in place and test key controls to ensure process effectiveness.
  • Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA): Prepare and update RCSA based on processes on a yearly basis as required.
  • Industry Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest operational risk management techniques and best practices in the industry.
  • Operational Risk Reviews: Coordinate with senior management to perform operational risk reviews through various in-house meetings.
  • Risk Management Records: Maintain comprehensive records of risk management activities, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Root Cause Investigation: Investigate root causes of operational risks and provide support to mitigate risk through quarterly GAP analysis.
  • Operational Risk Committee: Hold operational risk committee meetings and prepare notes on a monthly basis.
  • Operational Loss Data: Maintain a database related to operational loss data.
  • Safe Key Operations: Supervise and manage safe key operations and ensure adherence to business policies.
  • Gold Smith Selection: Supervise and manage the selection of panel gold smiths.
