We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our software engineering efforts. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas.

Key responsibilities include leading and designing React JS based components, modernizing existing flows using cloud-based technologies, and coaching and managing a development team to drive good quality results and secure applications.

You will collaborate with internal teams to design and develop solutions, analyze and fix issues, and execute creative software solutions with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches.

In addition, you will develop secure high-quality production code, review and debug code written by others, identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues, and lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams.

Job Requirements

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • In-depth knowledge of React JS, TypeScript, Websockets
  • Experience with State Machines, service workers, and micro frontends
  • In-depth knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace
  • Proficient in AWS services like ECS, S3, ALB, NLB, Dynamo, Aurora, Lambda
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, implementing and consuming RESTful services
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Understanding of loosely coupled architecture and application design patterns
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of XFS framework
  • Experience in Database design
  • Proficiency in Terraform
  • Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry
