Role Overview

This is a highly autonomous position that involves installing, configuring and supporting industrial IoT solutions for multiple clients. As part of our team, you will work independently to ensure seamless implementation and maintenance of IT and industrial infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and install software and equipment for clients, providing post-go-live support as needed.
  • Maintain IT and industrial IoT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Visit customer sites to troubleshoot issues, implement fixes and coordinate with the product team.
  • Work with Sales to implement trials and site surveys, ensuring our technical solution meets customers' needs.
  • Configure and test hardware components before installation.
  • Test installs and help customers validate accurate data capture.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success teams to resolve technical problems or install replacement equipment.
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify new technologies that can serve customer needs and build prototype solutions.

Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Python programming, with knowledge of C# or C/C++ being a plus.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and Agile project delivery methods.
  • TDD familiarity and understanding of open-source development tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems security mechanisms and multithreaded/multiprocess code development.
  • Ability to understand complex issues and discuss them via phone/email/methods.
  • Flexible approach and consultancy or customer-facing experience.

Preferred Skills:
  1. Multithreading and multiprocess code development skills.
