Job Summary:

The Finance Executive is responsible for managing and supervising the accounts payable department and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  2. Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and project accounting functions to ensure compliance with company policies.
  3. Develop and implement procedures to maintain system accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Ensure all financial obligations are met efficiently and effectively.
  5. Coordinate tax-related processes, including proper tax withholding and clearing of tax GLs in the software.
  6. Maintain a database of financial expenditures and provide reports as requested by supervisors.
  7. Review and process all payment transactions, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  8. Monitor the status of all transactions within the organization and with external vendors and contractors.
  9. Standardize procedures to generate efficiency and create internal templates.
  10. Promote customer service excellence through effective communication and issue resolution.
  11. Minimize payable aging by improving systems and ensuring compliance with policies.
  12. Ensure timely submission of bills of adjustment after internal audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in an executive role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
