In addition to financial reporting, this position requires analyzing financial data to provide insights into the company's performance, profitability, and financial health. This may include conducting ratio analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

Tax Planning and Compliance involves ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations while also minimizing the organization's tax liabilities through effective tax planning strategies. This includes filing tax returns accurately and on time, as well as identifying opportunities for tax deductions and credits.

Internal Controls are essential for safeguarding the organization's assets, preventing fraud, and ensuring the reliability of financial reporting. This includes implementing segregation of duties, authorization processes, and regular internal audits.

Treasury Management involves managing the organization's cash flow, liquidity, and investments to optimize the use of financial resources and maximize returns while minimizing risks. This may involve managing banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and short-term investing or borrowing.

This role requires developing long-term financial plans and strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This may involve capital budgeting decisions, investment analysis, and evaluating potential mergers or acquisitions.

The ability to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks that could impact the organization's performance or stability is crucial. This includes managing risks related to currency fluctuations, interest rate changes, credit exposure, and market volatility.

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements imposed by regulatory bodies is essential. This includes communicating financial information and performance metrics to internal stakeholders (such as management and board of directors) and external stakeholders (such as investors, creditors, and regulatory agencies) in a clear and transparent manner.
