Job Title

The role of Chief Operating Officer is to oversee the hospital's operational strategy and ensure its successful implementation.

About You
  • You will be responsible for integrating strategic planning with operations to guarantee smooth functioning.
  • Execute a well-structured plan to deliver high-quality patient care and increase OPD/IPD numbers.
  • Ensure effective working processes within the hospital and provide necessary guidelines to staff members.
  • Develop proposals for new projects, including estimates for construction, renovation, and maintenance, aligned with the hospital's five-year vision.
  • Participate in strategic planning under the CEO's guidance and take ownership of the hospital's operational plans.
  • Recruit and manage competent human resources based on workload and healthcare standards within approved frameworks.
  • Supervise staff training and development programs for outstanding performance.
  • Implement initiatives to transform the hospital culture, promoting positivity, teamwork, knowledge sharing, adaptability, and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with communities, educational institutions, and NGOs for awareness campaigns and health education.
  • Lead efforts to maintain facilities, transport services, hostels, and cafeteria for patients and staff.
  • Oversee the execution of preventive maintenance for biomedical equipment.
  • Optimize supply chain management through proper planning of medical and non-medical items for patient care.
  • Participate in budget planning and facilitate the CEO in securing approval for operating budgets.
  • Ensure the hospital's financials are managed prudently according to budget guidelines and financial policies.
  • Achieve revenue and profitability targets through quality patient care and efficient resource utilization.
  • Deliver cost-effective services by improving processes, purchasing effectively, and utilizing resources optimally.
  • Implement technology integration and optimize hospital operations via HIMS/SAP.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and lead ward rounds, pharmacy, lab, and other departments.
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote healthcare services with focus on social media platforms.
  • Ensure the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Quality standards and conduct regular audits.
  • Create operational plans for delivering quality patient care and enhance patient experience.
  • Manage quality documentation and audits.
  • Execute quality teaching programs for undergraduates and postgraduates.
  • Implement Continuous Medical Education Programs with mandatory training hours.
  • Embody Riphah Mission and Islamic Ethical Values in staff practices at Teaching Hospitals.
