Machine Learning Engineer Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the data science team, you will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning systems and self-running AI to automate predictive models.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and refine machine learning objectives with the manager.
  • Design and develop machine learning systems and self-running AI to automate predictive models.
  • Transform data science prototypes into production-ready code using appropriate ML algorithms and tools.
  • Ensure accurate user recommendations from algorithms.
  • Solve complex problems with multi-layered data sets and optimize existing ML libraries and frameworks.
  • Develop ML algorithms to analyze historical data for predictions.
  • Perform stress testing, statistical analysis, and interpret test results under various market conditions.
  • Document machine learning processes and stay up-to-date with ML developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or related field.
  • Master's degree in computational linguistics, data science, or similar advantageous.
  • At least two years' experience as a machine learning engineer.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, and R programming languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Great communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
