We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Release Management team as a Senior SAP Engineer.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled individual to design, configure, and maintain SAP Release Management tools. You will be responsible for assisting with planning, executing, and ensuring the successful release of SAP solutions across the SAP eco-system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Release Management Tool Design and Configuration:
    • Design and implement SAP Release Management tools, such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP BTP CTMS.
      • Configure and maintain these tools to support efficient and effective release management.
    • Release Planning, Execution & Deployment:
      • Assist with developing and maintaining the organization's release management process for the SAP eco-system.
        • Collaborate with development and functional teams to plan and prioritize SAP releases, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.
          • Create release packages and schedules, including timelines, milestones, and critical path activities.
            • Execute SAP releases in a timely manner, minimizing impact on business operations.
              • Coordinate with development and functional teams to validate release artifacts, including code, configurations, and documentation.
                • Manage release lead times and cut-off times to ensure timely completion and minimal impact on business operations.
                  • Develop and maintain deployment plans, including scripts, tools, and processes for deploying SAP releases to production environments.
                    • Ensure compliance with SAP deployment best practices, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
                  • Solution Manager and CHARM:
                    • Design and test Solution Manager connections across the SAP landscape - SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4 HANA GRC etc.
                      • Implement Charm workflows and troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve CSOL/Retrofit/Downgrade Protection issues.
                        • Set up Change cycles, Change types, and identify Solution Manager related issues. Develop resolution and improvement plans to address these issues.
                          • Lead system upgrade and system consolidation projects in close collaboration with BASIS team; perform regression testing and validation.
                            • Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base related to Solution Manager and Release Management processes.
                              • Develop detailed test scripts and complete unit testing.
                                • Setup and test authorizations associated with Solution Manager activities.
