As a medical professional, you will play a crucial role in managing operations and administration at our medical centre.

The ideal candidate will have an MBBS degree and at least 2 years of experience. Possession of MCPS is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. The successful candidate shall be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. He/she shall exercise due diligence and care in discharging their responsibilities and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  3. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential qualities required for this position.
  4. The officer shall also ensure that medical policies and procedures are being adhered to, including medical referrals, sick leaves, and record keeping.
  5. They will review patient histories on a regular basis and ensure that these records are updated by doctors.
  6. The officer shall verify whether necessary medical procedures have been conducted for patient treatment and whether referrals to panel facilities were justified in the circumstances or not.
  7. Emergency cases shall be reported to the In-charge Up-country Medical Centre for approval/ratification.
  8. Monthly performance reports shall be submitted to the In-charge Up-country Medical Centre detailing compliance with disease protocols.
  9. Discipline among staff and doctors is expected to be maintained at all times.
  10. Medical audits of doctors shall be conducted on a test basis, including:
  • Auditing medical records at random
  • Making regular observations of clinical examinations conducted by company doctors
  • Assessing the validity of referrals on the spot (subjective assessment)
Necessary efforts shall be made to prevent unnecessary hospitalization and related expenditures on inpatient cases.Panel and non-panel hospitals may be visited on instructions from the In-charge Up-country Medical Centre to verify:
  • Physical appearance of actual patients
  • Verification of their identity
  • Adequacy of medical facilities provided to them
Communication with treating doctors of admitted patients shall include:
  • Diagnosis of patients
  • Investigations undertaken or to be undertaken and proper indications
  • Appropriateness of treatment provided
  • Justification of the duration of hospitalization
  • Advice on patient discharge
Monthly reports shall be submitted to the In-charge Up-country Medical Centre detailing cases visited, visit results, and status of planned visits.Urgent calls for specific visits and investigations shall be responded to as directed by the In-charge Up-country Medical Centre.Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.
