Senior Technologist Job

The Clinical Laboratories are the first and only in Pakistan to be accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), a gold standard in laboratory testing worldwide. Our team delivers fast and accurate results for routine and specialized testing, accepted nationwide and globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex clinical tests independently according to procedure manuals on a daily basis.
  • Assist in teaching and training junior staff, students, and trainees according to guidelines provided as needed.
  • Implement safety standards according to the Laboratory Safety Manual on a daily basis.
  • Process and co-sign reports, including negative reports, of lab tests.

You will ensure timely preparation of final reports and provide a safe working environment by following safety standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Three to four years of experience as a technologist at AKU or six to seven years of relevant experience at a hospital or laboratory with two to three years of administrative experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and latest developments in medical technology.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
