Medical Professional

We are seeking experienced and skilled medical billers to fill this key position.
The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in medical billing, claim follow-up, and insurance calls. They should be aware of HITECH and HIPAA rules and regulations, possess strong verbal communication skills, and have a good understanding of medical terminologies.
Responsibilities include:
- Proficient knowledge of medical billing and coding principles
- Denial management and appeals expertise
- Research and reporting capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Typing speed of at least 30 w.p.m.
The following criteria must be met to qualify for the role:
- At least six months of experience in medical billing, claim follow-up, and insurance calls
- Awareness of HITECH and HIPAA rules and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (medical background preferred)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Offshore call center experience an asset
